The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD) faced a critical hurdle in public health: getting private sector employers to care about diabetes prevention. While the National Diabetes Prevention Program (National DPP) is a proven lifestyle change program, explaining its ROI to busy HR executives and business owners is difficult.
