Microsoft’s HoloLens And The Future Of Human-Computer Interaction

Technological advancements have introduced what was once science fiction into our daily lives.

Virtual and augmented reality are now available to the everyday consumer, mainly through either video games or apps. However, holograms have not hit the market... until now! Microsoft has just officially introduced its first holographic computing system, the Microsoft HoloLens headset. This headset leverages a user’s surroundings to integrate 3D images that the user can interact with using physical gestures.

Join us at the EMPAC Theater, located at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), to experience the HoloLens. This event includes live demos as well as a discussion on HoloLens and the future of human-computer interaction. Demos will be available all day, from 10:00AM to 9:00PM, and the discussion will begin at 7:00PM.

We hope that you will join us at this FREE event to experience the future!
