PRIMO, The P&A Project Optimizer
The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) created an optimization algorithm to group different marginalized conventional wells (MRIs) together to maximize cost efficiency for plugging projects. Troy Web Consulting partnered with NETL in order to create a platform to help step the user through the process and create and customize their projects with a sleek and efficient dashboard that would help it's users create their projects.

The original functionality of PRIMO was conceptualized by NETL in Jupyter Notebook before Troy Web joined the efforts and mocked up the new web app in Figma before developing it.
Our Approach
Utilizing the Jupyter Prototype as the basis for the functionality and inspiration from PARETO, an application developed in collaboration between NETL and Berkley Labs in terms of visual motifs, Troy Web Consulting designed and developed PRIMO. Allowing users to create, edit, and view their projects.
